Beware the warthog! In the last year of my tenure at NMPBS, I built a new production company with one of the station's producers, an Emmy award winning filmmaker from Africa named Kelly Kowalski.

Kelly in her element
As evidenced by the manifesto below, we were both passionate and ready to change the world.

While this was the second production company that I'd founded, it was the first time that I took on the role of designer. Still to this day, I love everything about this brand.

Once we both had left the station to pursue the joint venture, the first, and as it turns out, only, project that we got to work on together was about English as a second language in China.

Kelly flew out there to meet a friend of mine who was teaching English.

As fate would have it, my life would take me in a new direction after this project, but Kelly went on to run the company for another five years.

“Josh rocks! He has a keen eye and sharp mind for simple yet effective design, a knack for dealing with clients, writes well with wit and substance, and can manage a multitude of tasks with aplomb. Josh is one of the good guys - reliable, kind, and supportive - but never a pushover. I can’t wait to work with him again!”
